Description:

This piece was inspired by the various toys that can be found in a child's bedroom. The piece cycles through different toys ordered in a way that seems to capture their increasing acoustic intensity which I loosely employ to govern the piece's overall form. Some of the many toys that are evoked in this piece are a wind-up toy, a spinning top, a train, toy soldiers, and a fire truck.
