Description:

Written as a soundscape for Vibraphone trio; this piece depicts the quiet warmth one feels within an otherwise cold outer wintery scene. There is a mournful atmosphere which lasts throughout the piece. A bell-like motif is heard in the vibraphone at the start of the piece and reappears a number of times as the work progresses. The almost calling quality of this vibraphone motif is where the piece gets its name.
